Season's Bloggings from your postman....
Good luck in Motor City! I just wanted to let you know I've been following your blog and that it appears I'm a slow healer with my new hip.
Also - I didn't want to use your email address because I got what appears to be a money scam using your email address. I thought you should know!
Talk soon and take care!
Todd
Feel free to reach out by email anytime.
Nov 19 will be 14 years without a drink....
I hope you receive my message? And is very urgent. I could bearly think straight at this point. I had a trip here in United Kingdom on a mission. I am presently in Sheffield and I am having some difficulties. I misplaced my bag on my way to the hotel where other valuable things were kept along with my passport. I feel so ashamed because i am so stranded and idle. I will like you to help me with a loan of 1200 pounds to pay my hotel bills and also return back home. I will refund the money to you as soon as I get back, I have spoken to the embassy here but they are not responding to the matter effectively I
currently have limited access to emails for now.
Best regard
Bill Scheft
Obviously, no one who knows Bill Scheft (THE WRITER) would fall for this infantile message from someone who "does not the English speak so good." But...they still have your Yahoo password, buddy. CHANGE YOUR YAHOO PASSWORD, BILL! Do it now, buddy. There's no telling how many people from your contacts list this was sent to...
Jim...
Hope you haven't lost anything or have been otherwise compromised Bill!
All the best....
Todd
What is going on with the hip? Don't forget, you had severe AVN.
I knew it was fucked up. Everything went to crap two hours ago. I contacted Yahoo mail and told them my account had been compromised. Now it's frozen for 24 hours. How can I change my Yahoo password on a frozen account?
Here's what Yahoo says about a lockout:
f you receive a message stating that your account has been locked for security reasons, this means that there have been too many attempts to sign in to your account with the incorrect password. As a security measure, your account has been locked to prevent unauthorized users from being able to access it.
If you haven't been trying to sign in to your account with the wrong password, this is not necessarily cause for concern. It could simply be the result of another user mistakenly thinking that your ID is theirs. (To learn more about account security, please visit the Yahoo! Security Center.)
The lock on your account will expire 24 hours after it was initially locked—the lockout period will not reset each time you attempt to sign in while the account is still locked. You can try to sign in again after the lock has expired. We are unable to provide you with the exact time that your account was locked or when it will be unlocked.
If you are still unable to sign in with your new password, please refer to our password problems help page for common reasons why you may be getting an "Invalid Password" error.
But, obviously, someone did get your password.
Hope this helps...

Fingers crossed.
Just challenge the bastards to a spelling bee... I'll bet they can "bearly" wait for THAT. (If you're anything like me, you can't remember if you listed "Bladerunner" or "A Clockwork Orange" as your favorite movie.) I know I wrote that shit down around here somewhere... :(
Let us know how everything is going.
;)
WAITING ON THE ACCOUNT YOU KNOW.
GOD BLESS YOU!!!!!!!
Those "geniuses" can't beat us. I've got your back, Bill...always!
Love ya, buddy.
;)
I hope you sell ten thousand books... Keep us posted, buddy.
(I always find these little road stories fascinating!)
;)
I think you meant September 1985 when referring to your first time at Mark Ridley's Comedy Castle. People Express never made it to 2005.
I remember that loaner jacket. I can't remember if we worked together that week or just played golf.
