I can't wait to read Paul's book. What a great, heartfelt review!

(Definitely needs to go up on Amazon.)

    Thanks Bill!

"Everyone gets their due, even if Paul must stand off to the side."

Very nice to hear that the guy who has been "off to the side" for almost all of his public career will simply share his view from there, without the need to step onto the "X" that's front and center. And it's probably been a great viewing point...

Meanwhile...How's the new gig, Noel Nitecki? Glad to see you're settling in and apparently off to a good start. Hope all continues to go well.

First of all, good to have you back. And it's good to be back. I started my new job a month ago, and oddly, found myself on the Internet far less than when I was unemployed. Go figure. And I think it's a sign of a good job that I haven't nearly duplicated my surfing time at the office. Just a blackberry for personal email for me now.

Secondly, I can't wait to get Paul's book. I saw a feature about it on CBS Sunday Morning and I loved hearing his story and am looking forward to learning more. I certainly hope he talks about his days working for Polymer Records (Spinal Tap reference). It's amazing how integral a role he plays on the Late Show. Without him, the show isn't what it is. Most of my favorite catch phrases and bits are always made better with Paul's reaction or participation. One of my favorite Christmas events is Paul's rendition of Cher singing "O Holy Night". Seriously.
